About Me

I grew up in Austin, Texas before it was the ‘new’ silicone valley and live music capital. Long before it was know as the hip, happening, and cool Keep Austin Weird place it is now. My parents, siblings, and their respective families still reside in and around the Austin area.

My personal migration east began during college and I never looked back. Though we return to visit as often as possible. I enjoy the simple peace & beauty of nature, traditional Shotokan karate, a wide variety of movies, and a good cup of coffee. In August 2017 I was widowed after almost 18 years with my husband, Dan Granger. Cassidy, our daughter, and I currently reside in the countryside surrounding Fairhope where we look daily for the simple joys, take care of 3 dogs, tolerate a grumpy cat, and tidy our home and 5 acres in Dan’s absence.

Professionally, I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and Neuromuscular Therapist (NMT) in the State of Alabama (AL 1086). My career in massage therapy began in 2000 when I attended the Mobile Institute for Soft Tissue Therapy (MISTT). Upon completion of training, I co-founded Two Hands Massage Therapy, LLC, Fairhope, AL in February 2001.

Practicing massage for the better part of two decades has taught me much about people. But even more about myself! As one with an introverted personality style, I really thrive and enjoy helping and serving others on such an individual basis. Being introverted is a perfect attribute when working in a one-on-one manner.

If you come for massage, know that I’m a deep communicator and we can talk about almost anything you wish. Feel free to talk if thats how you relax and let go! That said, however, understand that your massage is your time. As such, you are in charge of this. We can spend the whole session in quiet & peace or we can talk away about everything and nothing combined. 100% your choice.

Be Well & Stay Well with Regular Massage Therapy!
